Rather than view these paths as mutually exclusive, Lucy found a symbiotic relationship between the two disciplines. “In cognitive science and in music you study how your brain reacts to external stimuli and transform it into actual knowledge,” he notes. “Sometimes I try to get my head in the studio and try to transform theories that I was studying into practical forms”.
