The original video is often forgotten during this stage, swallowed by the massive political or philosophical debate it triggered. Phase 4: Fatigue and Obsolescence
In the digital age, a single 15-second clip can transcend geographical, cultural, and linguistic boundaries, capturing the collective attention of millions overnight. The phenomenon of a "viral video" is no longer just a stroke of luck; it is a meticulously documented intersection of psychology, platform algorithms, and, most importantly, social media discussion.

Every major viral video follows a predictable lifecycle as it mutates from a piece of media into a full-scale social media discussion.
To understand the current landscape, we must rewind a decade. In the early 2010s, a viral video was measured strictly by plays. "Gangnam Style" went viral because people watched it repeatedly. Videos showcasing incredible human talent, breathtaking nature, or scientific breakthroughs inspire viewers to share the magic.
Viral discussions thrive on discovery. Put a weird object in the background of your video. Make a typo in your text overlay. Have a person in the background make a strange face. The discussion will naturally branch into "What is that thing on the shelf?" or "Look at the guy in the back at 0:03." These secondary conversations increase total time on video.
The video is overshared, leading to audience fatigue. The conversation shifts toward the next emerging trend. 4. Key Drivers of Contemporary Social Media Discussion
While virality can bring fame and fortune, the accompanying social media discussion can quickly turn toxic, leading to severe real-world consequences. Context Collapse and Misinformation
Hi, interesting information found here!
Just to know, I’ve an i5 on to a Q77 Express Chipset and it seems that esxi is unable to read health status data.
Could you confirm your hardware have the same chipset? Do you see healt data? Could you point me to solve my issue if possible?
Thanks alot
Hey Mirko,
I’m also using a Q77 chipset with an i7-3770 cpu. I can’t see health data either but I do see the warning ‘This system has no IPMI capabilities, you may need to install a driver to enable sensor data to be retrieved.’
Cheers
