Myopentopo Dashboard Hot File

A "hot" feature integrated with the MyOpenTopo ecosystem is the OpenTopography Community Dataspace. Users who are producing small to moderate sized topographic datasets (with LiDAR or photogrammetry) can archive their data with OpenTopography via a simple drag-and-drop user interface. Each submission is reviewed by OpenTopography staff, and upon approval, datasets in the OT Dataspace receive a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) and are displayed on the OpenTopography Find Data Map.

To prevent system abuse and maintain rate limits, OpenTopography requires an authorization key to query global datasets programmatically via curl, HTTP requests, or GIS software plugins. The dashboard acts as your secure vault to request, reveal, and track your unique API token. 3. Vertical and 3D Differencing Control

: OpenTopography is continuously adding massive new high-resolution datasets. In April 2026 alone, they added LiDAR surveys for vegetation and ecology research in fire-prone Southern California and slot canyon studies in Arizona, along with USGS 3DEP datasets in Nevada, Ohio, and Oregon. These valuable new datasets are driving researchers to the dashboard to access and process them. A "hot" feature integrated with the MyOpenTopo ecosystem

The myOpenTopo dashboard is a customized, secure command center available to registered OpenTopography users. It acts as a bridge between massive raw spatial databases and your desktop GIS software. Instead of manually configuring repetitive parameters or searching from scratch, the interface tracks every query, job, and credential in one place.

The dashboard provides immediate insight into job processing, data access, and API usage. October 26, 2023 | Category: GIS Performance Tuning

Master the MyOpenTopo Dashboard: The "Hot" Tool for Advanced Geospatial Workflows

Users with .edu emails can enable access to restricted datasets (like USGS 3DEP or NOAA Coastal LiDAR) directly through their dashboard. 🔥 Using the "Heat Map" Tool
