Locate the recovery.properties file in your SEPM installation folder ( ..\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\Server Private Key Backup\ ) and save it to an external drive.
Download the 14.3 RU (Release Update) version from the Broadcom support portal.
Open services.msc and verify that , SEPM API Server , and Symantec Embedded Database (if applicable) are running.
